There are many exciting adventures to be had in Gateway, but venture farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can roam around the surrounding region at your own pace. Add these awesome destinations to your travel schedule:

• You'll find Horseshoe Falls and countless other amazing attractions in Niagara Falls. From Gateway, it's about 50 miles away.
• Next stop? Make it London, which is around 90 miles away. Budweiser Gardens is one local hot spot you shouldn't miss.
• Get out into nature and breathe in some fresh air at Algonquin Provincial Park. It's approximately 160 miles from Gateway.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Canada, then you'll likely need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of identification as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other requirements for international car rentals are:
