Car Rental Jeongja-dong

Once you've covered all the great places in Jeongja-dong, there's more to see in the surrounding region. Collect the keys to a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and hit the open road. We've come up with some road trips you're sure to love:

• Jeonju is about 110 miles from Jeongja-dong. Well-known attractions like Jeonju Hanok Village should be at the top of your list while you're in town.
• Next stop? Consider Gangneung, which is around 100 miles away. Jeongdongjin Beach is one local hot spot you shouldn't miss.
• Make tracks to Gwangalli Beach for a day out in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From Jeongja-dong, it's roughly 190 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in South Korea, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car. Also consider that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some other requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before you drive off the lot. You typically can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with a rental car.
