Palmar has plenty to keep you on the move, but don't limit yourself to one place. Arrange a set of wheels and hit the road to see what's in the surrounding region. These are some great options:

• Make tracks to Quevedo for an excellent sightseeing experience. About 110 miles from Palmar, it has loads of great attractions such as Quevedo Shopping Center.
• Your next pit stop? Consider Machala, which is around 100 miles away. Machala Cathedral is one local draw card you shouldn't miss.
• Get out into the outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at El Panecillo. You'll find it roughly 200 miles from Palmar.
