Apurímac River Tours

I was expecting a great place since the base fare was "stated to be" +150$ and I paid less than half of that. I paid TOO MUCH. I felt mislead and fooled. Not sure whose fault was that. Hotel or hotels.com. Anyway, I was not provide with any toiletries. There was no fan in the bathroom and the condensation there, after 2 people took a shower was annoying, dripping all night long when I had to go to the bathroom. The worst part was the breakfast. There was no milk or water on the serving table. I had to ask 3 times for three cups of milk and was told that there was no ambient temperature water for my vitamin C. Only hot water for tea. However, they had several bottles of water in the reception but only "for sale."

I really enjoyed my stay at Andean Dreams; it has a great location and all the basics services you need. Also it has continental breakfast. Staff was really friendly and helpful!

The hotel was in a perfect location, close to both the train station and the bus stop to Machu Picchu. It was beautiful, spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options. I would definitely stay here again!!
