"This hotel is of incredible value! We stayed here for a surfing trip at Taito beach and watching the pros at the Olympic beach nearby. The elderly woman at the counter who checked us in, was so cute and kind. I guess this was a converted love hotel (similar to a motel in North America). So the room was insanely huge for Japanese standards, and ridiculously cheap (at the time, we paid about 7000 yen for 1 night). If we go back to Chiba for another surfing trip, we'll definitely stay there again!"

"As a foreigner with very little understanding of Japanese, I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful the staff were in communicating with us. The counter staff used voice to text translators to translate their Japanese to English. As we arrived directly from the airport, we were too early to check-in, but Tamura-san was very helpful in telling us about their day bath and buffet lunch package for us to spend the time. The onsen was very clean, and the accommodations were comfortable. Higu-san was exceptionally helpful on our last day, as she went the extra mile to help us call a cab to the Kimitsu highway bus station when our taxi apps failed to get us a booking. She helped us load the luggage on the cab, and even sent us off with a snack! For tourists like me who cannot speak Japanese, their support and kindness was immensely invaluable.
