"This B&B is perfectly located and well run. The site Mgr is wonderful and serves an amazing daily breakfast. The room we had was spacious, quiet, and beautifully furnished. It is a very short walk to the center of Boothbay Harbor shopping and eating. My wife's favorite shop was only 5 doors away from the Blue Heron's front door. If we ever return to the Boothbay area we will definitely stay at the Blue Heron again."

"Donna was a wonderful hostess. She greeted us warmly and really wanted to know a bit about us and what brought us to Boothbay Harbor (an anniversary celebration). Her orientation to our accommodations and the town was very helpful. We stayed in “solitude “, a lovely, separate cottage behind the main house that was perfect for us. We will definitely return to Atlantic Ark in the future. "

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. iT IS A RIP-OFF. I GOT THErE EARLY AND HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO GET INSIDE THE PROPeRTY EARLY. THIS IS A HOARDER HOME THAT SMELLS LIKE CAT PEE. BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SCARED TO STAY ThERE. Also they suggest you have dinner there and the place is overgrown with plants. Truly in 44 years of traveling in the US and around the world this is the worst place to stay that I have ever been. We left and called Expedia to cancel even before the check in time and the owner...

"Quick one night trip. We arrived around 6pm and all stopped and restaurants closed at 7 or 8. One was open until 9. Beautiful view over the water from the room. Easy checkin and parking. Older room. Flattest pillow I've ever slept on. The bed was comfy. The air unit blows directly on the bed. Small room but it worked for just 2 of us. "
