Staff were courteous and always accommodating. Rooms were clean. Breakfast superb. Location within easy reach of city centre via bus, and Neustadt areas also via bus. 24/7 counter staff which was useful because we didn't arrive from Berlin until 1 a.m. Flixbus terminus 12 minute walk away at Dresden Neustadt Station.

Excellent hotel, easy transportation to the city center.

Stayed for one night because my husband had a business meeting in Pirna. March is clearly off season - a great time to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Elbe River in peace and quiet. Our room was spacious and clean, with that gorgeous view and a huge balcony. The bathroom had enough room to keep our toiletries in there. I really appreciated the extra magnifying mirror and ampel towels. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Traditional local specialties, full meals and snack options. Enjoyed a glass of the local wine while soaking in the soothing river view. The main dining room has a great small collection of Saxon Switzerland art. The next morning we savored the nice hot and cold breakfast buffet served in the medieval breakfast room. The hotel staff was very understanding, and let me store my bag there while I used my free ferry card (included in room price) to cross the river for a shopping walk around historic Pirna. Plenty to see and do, and lovely cafes and restaurants. Already planning our next trip.

I was in for a treat when I booked this hotel. I was just looking for a place to stay in Dresden for one night, close by the railway station, but my expectations were exceeded! I got a very spacious room, clean, everything there what I needed. I booked it with breakfast - and it was surely one of the best I got in the last years. If you are can find something missing on that buffet, it must be really special. Sooo many options. You can also tell that the hotel is run by someone who cares. It seems that all staff knew what they were doing, everyone friendly, welcoming. The interior is a bit more on the classic side, all well maintained, but not like big chains with corporate design rolled out to all hotels. So the place is special. Next time in Dresden I will book this again. 100%
