"The room was good and spacious. Parking very convenient and good location easy to access and walking distance from the city center. The spa is a wonderful plus. "I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience attempting to check-in at Hotel Heco Colmar location. When I arrived in Colmar on the evening of December 9th, I tried multiple times to call the hotel to notify you of my arrival and ask for directions. Unfortunately, despite calling numerous times, no one ever answered the phone. Ultimately, after waiting for over an hour outside the hotel late at night and having no way to get in touch with anyone on their staff, I was forced to book a room at the nearby Hotel F1 for my stay instead. Given that I was unable to check-in to the room I had reserved and paid for due to being unable to reach anyone at the hotel by phone or email, I kindly request a full refund for the night I had booked. Please advise on next steps for issuing this refund. I hope you will improve your policies for responding to guest communications quickly, as this was an extremely frustrating experience that led me to take my business elsewhere. I look forward to your response. Best, Karthik"

"Lovely hotel. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt a little put out at our treatment or lack of in the hotel restaurant. We were the only brits in a room full of Germans and French. Every single other table were brought a basket of bread whilst waiting for their food and given a free dessert at the end of their meal, even if they’d already had a dessert like we had. It unfortunately marred my stay a little. "
