9/10 Wonderful! (131 reviews)
Definitely not good for families. We stayed in the Julia Berwind room which was okay and probably fine for a couple without kids. We ended up leaving early for a few reasons.
1. The bathroom was across the hall (knew that when we booked but didn't realize how inconvenient it would be with a baby).
2. The bathroom had no ventilation unless the fan was running and could not get the window to open. So we had to keep bringing our toiletries that we didn't want mildew or mold growing on back to our room when they weren't being used.
3. The floors while maybe cleaned, had either old crud or asbestos caked between the floor boards. We couldn't tell and we certainly didn't let our baby crawl on the floor either way.
4. No sink in the room (again, knew this when booking but it was more inconvenient than we thought). Washing bottles was a pain because of this.
5. The doors. There are two doors going into the hallway because this room used to be two separate rooms that were combined into one by removing a wall. Two doors would be fine. However, these doors barely shut. The locks worked but you could easily see light through both doors and hear everything from our room and the hallway.
6. Side note, we did not try the free breakfast. It may be great. However, we decided to go to the garden restaurant the night we arrived. Over $100 for a premade, frozen burger and pretzel bites that match Costo's when doing an image search. Try the free breakfast, avoid the the rest.
