Late night check in. Other people came back to the desk saying their room wasn’t clean and were requesting a new one. Never a good sign. I was too tired to complain to much. But it definitely was not clean in the hallways with lots of trash and spilled food all over the first floor on the days of my stay. Seemed like it was different food each day, so an attempt was made to clean it up. But still, was not the most inviting sight. Renovated bathrooms are really nice and a stark contrast to the dark rooms with limited lighting. Wasn’t the cleanest room. But bed was comfy. Black out curtains worked really well, but no lighting was enough to see much at night in the room. People seemed to enjoy the amenities available, but the things I needed specifically for the trip (guest laundry) were not available. Bathrooms were closed on the main floor, and I think the whole hotel might improve once these things are taken care of. Location is not great with the strip club next door and the loud restaurant with rowdy folks when I was there. But it’s an easy on and off on the freeway.
