Wonderful time in the cabins at Monkey falls
We went with a group and rented all three cabins on the property. We stayed in cabin 1. The kitchen and living space is in a screened in area. The bedroom/ bathroom is in the area with A/C. That was really nice is one person woke up before the other you had a separate space. The kitchen and living space is all in the a/c in the other two cabins. That was really nice for the members of our group who don’t do as well in the afternoon heat. The communication with Melody the property manager was great. Her mother Rose cooked for us. She is a great cook. We tried ceviche at three different places. Rose’s was by far the best! She also accommodated us with some special requests. Pablo and Rod took us into town a few times. We also rented the car on site. It was so nice to have that option. This property is beautiful. The cabins are comfortable. My favorite part was the people. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. I would go back just to see them. Thank you to Melody and family!

Jungle cabin outside San Ignacio
This cabin was very clean and fit the description exactly. Good wifi and excellent communication from the property manager. Melody was quick to respond and helped us with suggestions for local food/activities as well as arranging for breakfast and taxis. The only drawback is that it’s a good walk or taxi to any restaurants/markets, so if you are staying a while take advantage of the kitchen and bring supplies! We could also hear the noise from the road and loud music from neighboring people which took away from the feel of the place. The screened in area was my favorite, especially sitting outside at night/early morning to listen to the jungle noises and during the rainstorm that happened during our stay. Overall great stay and would definitely recommend!
