The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future! ”

“Had a fabulous stay at Cassia Hill. Had a duplex style studio overlooking the gorgeously cared for grounds (#2). The room was surrounded by huge windows to enjoy the lush trees and plants from inside. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful both before and during my stay. “For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.”

“This resort is a slice of paradise. The employees made it heaven. They went out of their way every day to make us feel welcomed and as a vegan, had zero issues making nearly all my meals while I was there 4 days! The resort was super quiet, blended with nature perfectly, and met every need. Must do tours are Tikal and ATM cave, but be warned ATM requires physical ability to scramble huge rocks and is not for the claustrophobic. ”

“The facility is incredible. You truly feel as if you are staying in the jungle. We stayed in a treehouse and the room was absolutely stunning. “Room was beautiful. Request garden or river view. The staff, everyone, including front desk, restaurant/bar staff, housekeeping, and tour guides were excellent. The location cannot be beat. You have the quiet of the jungle with a short walk into town. Be advised that the hill from San Ignacio to the hotel is steep, but each time you climb it, it gets shorter and flatter. “My wife and I recently stayed at Falling Leaves for four nights on our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience. Paula and the rest of the team were incredibly accommodating and friendly. At my request, they even decorated the room for Valentine’s Day as a surprise for my wife, which meant a lot to us. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, a beautiful room with a jacuzzi on the veranda.
