We made a booking on short notice for Christmas night after finding out family would be in the area, so we weren't too concerned about amenities, just proximity to the house our relatives would be staying in. We didn't speak to any staff until check-out due to the holiday. Having said that, it was VERY comfortable in terms of the bed, the amount of space, the temperature control, the water pressure and the door locks. The access and parking were easy, and we really enjoyed breakfast down the road at Cafe Fina. They also made the extra effort to make the room aesthetically pleasing, decorated with southwestern charm. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the full size, plump pillows. We booked it because we needed a pet friendly place as had our dog with us. There is an area nearby to walk your dog and a couple of dog waste bag stations on the grounds. The Mexican restaurant there has great food and you can eat in or get it to take back to your room. Other than some noise from the ice machine on the back side of our room, it was quiet. It would be nice if they provided breakfast, especially since the room cost is on the high side. The pet fee is a bit high also; perhaps they could make a portion of the fee refundable after checkout and being assured there was no damage to the room. The room was Immaculate, the bed comfortable and the decor a delightful surprise. An awesome view of the sunset.
