My husband and I loved Maple resort, we were looking for a relaxing getaway and we found it. The staff were amazing, very helpful and kind. The room is beautiful and give romantic vibes. The pool area is very well maintained and clean, we swam for hours. We can’t wait to go back.

The property and the rooms are great. Many areas to relax. Drive to the resort is a bit rough. The restaurant on site is closed and there really isn’t any nearby restaurants. Would definitely go back but take some snacks.

My July 2026 stay at Maple Resort was disappointing despite a few positives. The room itself was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and featured an excellent mattress that made for a great night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. The resort continues to advertise an on-site restaurant that has been permanently closed for years, which was misleading. Reception was difficult to locate due to poor signage, and the mile-long dirt access road was in poor condition and made my back sore. Friendly but unsupervised dogs also wandered throughout the property. Most concerning, the resort failed to address loud, intoxicated day-pass guests who overcrowded the jacuzzi, vaped openly, and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for families with young children. I reported these concerns to staff without action being taken. I would not recommend or return to Maple Resort until my concerns are meaningfully addressed.

This property is better suited for guests who plan to stay on-site for their entire trip rather than coming and going. Driving at night was very unsettling. The roads are in poor condition, there is very little lighting to guide you, and the area feels extremely dark, which made us feel unsafe. One of the biggest disappointments was that there is no food available on-site and very little staff present. In my opinion, that does not meet the expectations of a resort. Leaving the property at night to find something to eat is not a practical or comfortable option, so I highly recommend stopping to purchase enough food, snacks, and drinks before arriving to last for the duration of your stay. The views are absolutely beautiful during the day and the scenery is peaceful. At night, however, the property lacks adequate lighting, which makes getting around more difficult. There are also several dogs on the property. They were intimidating at first, but after spending some time there, we realized they were harmless and simply live around the property. Overall, while the daytime views are stunning, I would not consider this property a resort based on the lack of amenities, food service, staffing, and overall guest convenience.

Stayed at Maple 5/31/25-6/1/25. It is off road in a tranquil location. Check in was strictly at 3 and we had to wait for the front desk concierge till then. It was unfortunate the restaurant burnt down in January so we were limited to the swim up bar. We didn't do the ferris wheel since it was also closed. The place was kept very clean and the staff at the swim up bar were very attentive and very hard working. They deserve raises. Overall it was remote and relaxing.

The staff were very friendly. Our bungaló had very nice amenities. Every room had a nice view of Guadalupe Valley. The resort is still curently undergoing construction and the restaurant was not open. It will be an even better resort once the construction is completed.
