Book Savinjska Bed & Breakfast

"Excellent location, 3min walk from the river with lots of places to eat and drink. The map on here is wrong - it’s only 1.5 blocks from the river. Very clean, nice staff. Bed was extremely comfortable and room was super quiet. We had a castle view with balcony. Couldn’t fault the room at all. Service was good. Breakfast was decent although sometimes the hot food was barely warm. Would happily stay again. Let them organise a transfer to/from the airport (50€) or book a shuttle - absolutely do not get a taxi outside the airport terminal, there is a huge problem with fake taxis in the city. We followed all the advice, took one that was marked from the correct place and which had a meter… and it still cost 72€ as the meter was dodgy and they applied a 12€ “dodanek” extra. Just let the hotel sort out the transfer or pay for one separately, do not get a taxi from the rank "

"I love this property and would stay there again. It’s a beautiful hotel. Everything is so charming and the beds so comfortable. The breakfast buffet is unique and very nice. The restaurant in the hotel is Asian,I believe, and the food is very good. I love that the market is across one street. And as a senior, I was able to get the Cavalier to come pick me up and take me where I wanted to go in the market. Overall, it was a great experience."

"We had high expectations for this hotel based upon what we read and we were not disappointed. Location was perfect for exploring Ljubljana during the day and for the vibrant evening social scene. The staff were responsive and helpful. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and well provisioned. I can't imagine a better hotel in Ljubljana. "

The location was walking distance to the Old Town and the staff was so friendly & kind, especially the front desk personnel: Hana, Dejan Tomislav ( Tommy ) and the gentleman with the mustache. Ali, from the sister hotel right next door, was also very kind and helpful to us upon our arrival. The morning breakfast were a treat with a wide variety and selection to choose from! The staff who work the breakfast shift was polite and quick to be of service! The bed & sheets were very comfortable and we slept great!! We loved our stay at Eurostar Grand Hotel Union!!"
