“Very welcoming Michael on reception was very friendly and knowledgeable and CJ was very helpful as we were on a motorcycle and had 2 panniers and a top box to take upstairs to our room CJ kindly offered to take the 2 panniers to our room and that is now a rarity now a days for any hotel so good on ya”

“As maturer visitors, we found that having only one handrail on the stairs was challenging. An extra handrail would help. Other than that it was a great stay. If we are to return to the area the Bosuns Chair would be our first choice. ”

“A great place if you wana drive down the night before your cruise as its close to the terminal! Nice freindly staff, food exellent! The room was basic but clean as was the bathroom. We where in a downstairs room so we had noisy upstairs occupants so when they walked across the room you could hear the footsteps and floorboards creaking! Fire alarm went off in the early hours but that cant be helped! Not a bad stay and i would stay there again. Highly recommend the fish&chips👌”

“This is a very well renovated B&B with nice amenities like a smart TV, kettle for tea and coffee, and a super comfortable bed. The entrance to the hotel and rooms is controlled by an electronic code. There is a modest continental breakfast on offer with the option for boiled eggs and a sausage or bacon sandwich. “I only stayed for one night but wishing I stayed for longer now! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved the space, the bedroom was comfortable and clean, and gave a very homey b&b feeling. I took transit and found it fairly straightforward to get to. And its an easy walk to the Tennyson monument! Would definitely recommend!”
