My girlfriend and I loved our stay at the cabin. We had a wonderful view in the morning for coffee and great proximity to the national park as well as pigeon forge and Gatlinburg for other activities. Our host was extremely attentive to messaging and very accommodating. The place itself was extremely clean and spacious with all the amenities you could ask for. Definitely recommend staying here for your next trip in the region!
Absolutely beautiful cabin, breathtaking view! Very clean and cozy. Very helpful, responsive management. We enjoyed it a lot! Can't wait to get back again!
We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful, great location with privacy, but also close to Pigeon Forge for plenty to do and places to eat. The cabin was exactly as described, nice and clean, and included basic necessities. The drive way is steep, so we appreciate them being open and up front about that so we were prepared. We'd love to visit again!
Deff need 4W/AW drive ! Beautiful location secluded like we wanted, close enough for all the action! Excellent experience over all- however some of the images of things in the cabin where not there- it’s only one couch & loveseat in living room- one bed (no extra seating ) but it was still pleasant over all ! Watch out for scorpions in the lower level ! Highly recommend
We loved the cabin! Great place to crash after long days of hiking. AWD is a necessity to access the cabin. We slid off a mountain road into a ditch on our way out. The cabin owner warned us not to try leaving but we did anyway. Then we waited all day to get towed out of the ditch, but the cabin owner made sure we were safe and offered us another night while we got the car fixed up. He also gave us a ride to get the car fixed too. We were lucky to have such an advocate on our side.
We were very pleased with Saddle Ridge. As mentioned in the previous reviews, the customer service is excellent. We never needed to call on them outside of our check-in/out processes.
We fell in love with Wears Valley and the NP, and didn’t care for Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge a bit.
The cabin was immaculate. We loved the seclusion. We loved returning at the end of our day to finish our evenings and starting our days at our leisure here.
Everything worked as advertised. We will definitely return! Oh, they aren’t kidding about the AWD/4WD. Our CRV AWD handled the climb like a champ, though.
Thanks for wonderful, peace-filled stay. We will return!
The cabin is secluded and it felt very private. It is very cute and comfortable. A couple of things I wasn’t crazy about. 1. Having to take our trash several miles down the road to put in a dumpster behind the property management company’s office. 2. Leaving the air set on 72 and using ceiling fans. I’m a hot sleeper and didn’t really like having to keep the air conditioner set on a certain temperature. I’ve stayed a number of places and have never been asked to do either of those things. Overall it was nice. I loved how secluded and quiet it was.
Your call for a 4wd or awd vehicle ain't no joke! That last hill is quite the ordeal on a good day. Wow! The house was beautifully set up even down to warm jazz music playing when we got there. My husband and I truly enjoyed our 9th anniversary at your cabin. I couldn't believe you don't keep the essentials of salt and pepper, but live and learn, we now have a set to carry with us. Your hot water heater works very well. Thank you again for the opportunity, it was fantastic.
This cabin is Perfect for a couple of for someone wanting Get Away! It is at the end of a gravel rd with only one cabin past. Everything worked perfectly! Would definitely stay here again.
The cabin was exactly like the pictures. Very private! Very beautiful! The views were phenomenal. Carolyn was so helpful she called to make us aware of an impending snow storm so we were prepared and was very hospitable when we had to wait a little bit before we could check out because of the road conditions. We cant wait to come back! I would most defiantly recommend!
Very nice and comfortable cabin in the Smokey Mountains. The property was very clean and well supplied. Loved the hot tub and rocking chairs on the porches. Saw 6-bears during one 5-day stay literally within 30-yards of the cabin.
Had one minor issue with the hot tub not operating right but Ruby and Carolyn immediately sent out a repair man and it was fixed within an hour.
Great communications with the property management team (Great Cabins in the Smokies).
Would definitely stay in this cabin on future trip to the Smokies.
The customer service is unmatched. Hands down the best experience I’ve had staying in the Smokey’s & I’ve been coming here for over 25 years. The road leading up to the cabin is a little steep and there are a few ruts but nothing to complain about. Very well kept property and clean! You do have a neighbor but you don’t even know they are there unless they are driving by. Great location and not a bad drive to/from Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. This cabin is perfect for newlyweds or a couples get away.
Just came back from this rental and it was so beautiful. We got there while it was snowing and got stuck on the road ,then had to walk to our cabin about 2 miles. The walk was dreadful but once we made it to the cabin it was so beautiful and peaceful. The snow was just coming down it was so amazing. The inside of cabin was very clean , it was just what the pics looked like. The hot tub was amazing and shooting pool was fun. The view from the porch was stunning. I will say the drive to cabin was great but the steep incline driveway up to cabin is a Doosie. When they say you need a 4×4 or AWD they are not kidding. I had that but was not able to make steep driveway so we had to park at bottom and walk up but we didn't mind cause the cabin was worth it. Definitely recommend this cabin for a great vacation.
If you want an amazing getaway where you literally stay put this is the one. We arrived Friday night and had trouble getting up the hill- four week drives definitely a blessing . But we got there and the stay was so worth it !!!
The cabin was absolutely secluded and a great slow down for us that was much needed . You drive up a gravel / rock drive to the top and arrive to a beautiful cabin. Open the door to horses and cowboys on the walls which was way too cool. The bathroom with soak tub is upstairs ( no jets but no big deal they advertise ot as a soak tub for that reason). There’s also a good sized kitchen dining area and living room with fireplace on the main floor as well as a balcony with an absolutely beautiful view and a swing .
Downstairs is another balcony with a hot tub that is very hot and a much needed facing a Mountain View . You can see four or five cabins on the other peak across the way but they can’t see you . You’re literally secluded and it’s AMAZING!! Theirs also a hammock that is on a heavy wood stand so anyone can enjoy it.
The bedroom i the entire size of basement and has a laundry room bathroom pool table and tv . We loved it.
The staff were amazing and came and actually replaced the hot tub button within and hour of us calling to let them know it wasn’t cooperating. They didn’t hesitate to do their best to make our stay amazing.
If I were to go again this would definitely be the one as it was well cared for, the staff efficiently fixed the issue we had immediately, and it’s secluded from the craziness of life.
We had a blast and truly enjoyed our 24 anniversary here ❤️
The cabin was more than we expected! The furniture has actually been updated, so the pictures aren't correct. The washer, dryer, wifi and hot tub worked perfectly for our stay. And everything was spotless and well stocked for what we needed. We did stay inside one day because of the rain and they have every app on the TV we could think of. So relaxing inside or on one of the decks was super cozy. Close to some restaurants, a grocery store, and a couple shops. And about 30 mins to Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg. Will definitely stay again in the future!
