“If you’re thinking of booking a compact room from this hotel then please don’t go by the pictures supplied online. You may be better off paying a bit more for a normal room though I’d be interested to see the size of these before I could comment. “The first thing to say is that we had a really great week staying at The Imperial and we would go back. The first night was not good as we were given a very noisy room (no 6) at the back of the hotel above the kitchen on one side and above the public bar on the other. Despite being fully booked, the staff did everything to sort this out and we were given another room - much better.
