"Highly recommend August House. The rooms in this heritage home are clean and beautiful with a minimalist, pine aesthetic. The breakfast is buffet with local bread, granola, berries, scrambled eggs, etc. The staff are very helpful. There is a sauna and several shared spaces. The rooms have no TV. The bed was very comfortable and the tub was deep. "

"We had a wonderful time. The trailer and outhouse were very clean and the view is breathtaking! The bed is VERY comfortable! My husband and I visited for my birthday and the very thoughtful hosts had a birthday cake waiting for me in the fridge!!!! We would definitely like to return. I saw many seals (I included a picture but it’s difficult to see it-they liked swimming just under the surface) and an eagle each day. Thanks for a great weekend!"

"Beautiful setting, very peaceful with lovely linens on the beds. The kitchen is fully stocked, the sitting room is comfortable and the outside decks are amazing. The little village of Chester was close by with a cozy pub offering live music on select nights and the local playhouse had local talent performing while we were there. We would stay again"
