"What a great experience. Gary greeted us, gave us a tour and what we could expect during our stay. We felt so welcomed and cherished. We took a walk by the lake, sat around the fire, played poil and relaxed in the main room. The hospitality was amazing. We can't say enough good about this place. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. We already have plans to return with friends. "

"My husband and I were very pleased with the accomodations. The house is super cute, all the little details just make the stay very enjoyable. The coffee bar set up was much appreciated. Even little things like when I forgot my toothbrush. We happened to stay during polar plunge and -11 yikes. The separation of spaces were very nice the gamers loved the basement. I adored the bunk room. Having individual heat and air source for sleeping quarters was great. Very nicely decorated. The heated garage was amazing. This place definitely suited for multiple families. Highly recommend for grandparents,kids,grandkids."

"We had a group of ladies stay at the house and we enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located close to all the shopping and restaurants. If it wasn’t so cold when we stayed we would have been able to walk to all the shopping. Everything we could need was supplied for the kitchen including coffee and creamer along with smaller kitchen appliances. We stayed during below zero temps and the main floor did have a hard time staying warm but the upstairs was nice and toasty. Overall a great house and we would come back to this place if we visit Walker again."

"We had a group of 14 which gathered in Walker, MN to stay at this very spacious, quiet location. The house is as advertised with a lot of space and many bedrooms with various types of beds and all with their own bathroom (toilet and sink). There are two shower rooms (with a sink and toilet as well) and they worked out well for all of us and Ron and Melanie (our hosts) even provided shampoos and body wash :). The house is located a few blocks from Leech Lake so don't expect to be right on the lake, but it is close enough to see the lake from the street where the house is located (the house is up on a hill by the two water towers in Walker). Our hosts were great to work with as Melanie answered all of my questions leading up to our stay as well as some that came up after we checked in. The kitchen and dining room is very spacious and the whole house was comfortable with a large yard for us to play some outdoor games. The house was very clean and has a great game room set up in the garage with various mats and chairs available for use. There is a cool player piano in the house as well, but it is not in tune, but that was not a major factor in our stay as we all loved the home. I just mention it for those families that like to sing around a piano (as we do). Thanks again to Ron and Melanie for your hospitality and maintaining a great house and location for large groups who want to gather in Walker, MN."
