"My friend and I stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of our 6 day tour of Sri Lanka. This place is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and I wished we had stayed longer. The rooms are elevated and there is a walkway to them . My room are spacious, clean, with a seated area and I had a wrap around view of the forest. We ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing. My food allergies was catered for, which sometimes can be a problem. The ambiance of this hotel is lovely and the staff are excellent, nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to the chef that made my meals, this was my first taste of Sri Lankan food. This hotel is going to become popular and I am glad that we visited before that happen. I would definitely stay here again"

"Lovely setting with pool and beautiful garden. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. I thought this was good value for the price we paid. Areas for improvement: no towles supplied initially (had to ask), lack of toiletries in the room (no hand soap), wifi does not work, food at restaurant quite expensive. We wanted to have two beds but the rooms have inbuilt king beds so there was a small uncomfortable single bed added. No room service unless you ask and provide your key."

"We had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at Eighth Wonder Resort. The tree house was spacious and clean with lovely views of the surrounding forest. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant and pool area were beautiful and well maintained. We had problems getting mobile reception, so the manager lent us a wifi router free of charge. Such a big help and very gracious! The area has heaps of wildlife. Our tree house was visited by a troop of monkeys one morning. Very special, but be safe and keep your shoes indoors! "

"This is a beautiful property with spacious rooms that make you feel like you are living in a lush green space. Clean rooms, nice space to work, comfortable bed. The only small complaint I have is the internet was a little slow, video calls for work were blurry, but it worked! Breakfast buffet was really good with lots of options. Bar was pretty pricy but it was nice. The pool was also a welcome amenity after hiking. Would definitely recommend. "
