"We had an excellent few nights stay here. Very welcoming and easy to contact the host. Great area to stay, very quiet and the hobbit house was spotless and very well organised. We had our 6 year old who loved the splash pool and feeding the goats. We would stay here again if going to this area in Portugal. Excellent place. "

"Marsuites is a small and friendly hotel in a fantastic location. Armação de Pêra is a busy and popular holiday town with a traditional Portuguese atmosphere. In August it was hot and we enjoyed the air conditioning in our room. There were controls to vary fan speed and other functions so it was possible to get the room temperature just right. Good AC is important for us; we're not used to 30-40 degrees C in summer (more like 15-25 degrees!). A mini fridge in the room was also welcome and we used it to keep drinks cool. Our room had a high quality mattress that gave us a good sleep each night. The room had a small balcony with two chairs that was nice to use at night for short periods. There is no view from the balcony to speak of, so don't be too worried about getting a room with a balcony. It's more likely that you will want to sit on the beach or in a cafe during the day. The balconies are also not very private as they are close together and your view is not shielded from your neighbours. This was not a problem for us and we did use the balcony a couple of times to sit or dry beachwear, but this B&B encourages you to venture out and explore the town. As others have mentioned, the hotel is spotlessly cleaned everywhere each day. Breakfast is good, and very well managed; nothing ran out. Marsuites is the best in town in terms of easy access to the beach, supermarkets and cafés. Everything is just a few minutes walk. Highly recommended!"

"This villa is beautiful and well maintained mostly, apart from headboards, they could be doing with replacing and all marks/scratched in most rooms. We were kept updated regularly and checkin process was great. Lovely welcome gifts too which is nice thought.The area is beautiful and the views from roof lovely if you were all adults but we were too frightened to relax with a 3yr old up there so avoided it, that was our issue, not the villas. The only thing I could say as a negative was the roof terrace was not like the picture advertised as no gazebo over it and the chairs were a little dated and metal which got too hot to sit on. The balconies on the picture showed seating outside the room with the stairs to roof which would have been nice but they wasn’t any. I would not have paid for room hot tub to be heated if I would have known this as never used it once. However we had a fab week, pool and hot tub downstairs was beautiful. Be prepared for seagulls pooping everywhere lol Definitely would return Thank you to Olivia for keeping us informed from booking to leaving.. "
