"The historic cottage is well appointed with everything you need for a summer respite. There is a large picture window that gives a beautiful waterfront view. The large deck is equipped with a table and chairs for dinning with a carryout from the Pemaquid Lobsterman's Co-op. The Adirondack chairs are perfect for your summer read. IT IS SO QUIET THERE. We are already planning our return next summer"
"We were very happy in this lovely home with its views over the river. The deck is an ideal spot to relax, hear birdsong, and appreciate the attractive traditional Maine homes on the quiet side street. Our generous host left many handy supplies and the kitchen provided abundant pans and utensils. Furnishings and linens are high quality and very comfortable.Friendly neighbors were often out with their dogs and it was an added pleasure for my little dog and me to stop to chat.Don’t miss the pastries and sandwiches at the East Boothbay General Store, just around the corner ."

"We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation in Maine than at this beautiful house on St John’s bay. Communication with the owners was seamless! We took full advantage of the location by visiting the local beach, Boothbay, and Acadia National Park. Being able to walk across the street and sit by the bay to enjoy our morning coffee or 4th of July fireworks was priceless! We can’t wait to come back next year!"
"My wife and I had the most relaxing week at the cottage. Tom and Laurie were so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our daily walks along the water, trips into Round Pond and Damariscotta, and finding new trails to walk with our dog. "This home was exactly what we wanted - a beautiful & roomy place that provided rest and relaxation w/ beautiful views. We were actually surprised to find the out had more beds then we realized. There are two full rooms upstairs that both have four bunk beds as well as another queen(?) bed in each room two. So there were 10 beds upstairs! We loved it & look forward to another opportunity to stay again! "

The yard was the best - fire pit, plenty of outdoor seating. Space to play in the yard, water access and great views. Very peaceful. The most amazing star gazing ever.
