Dog Friendly 3bd/2ba Cabin In Serene Lakes

Welcome to your peaceful mountain retreat, a charming and inviting 3bd cabin nestled in Serene Lakes. Located on Donner Summit, this cabin offers convenient access to year-round outdoor activities. In the winter, enjoy proximity to Royal Gorge, Sugar Bowl, and Donner Ski Ranch. In the summer, explore 3,000 acres of protected land with trails and multiple lakes perfect for hiking and adventure. This family-friendly cabin is the ideal spot for creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

If renting in winter, please note this cabin is all electric and is heated by 2 pellet stoves which requires lifting up to 50lbs.

The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, linens, snow tubes & toys, beach chairs & toys. The front & back gates can also be closed in to keep pets secure while enjoying the outdoors.

I am available via phone or Airbnb. There is a landline at the cabin in case service is spotty.

Quiet 800 home community surrounded by 3,000 protected acres. 15 minutes to Truckee, 1 mile to Royal Gorge, 5 miles to Sugar Bowl and Donner Ski Ranch.

Serene Lakes is a recreational community with bicycles, hikers, dog walkers and runners moving around. Off the beaten path but just 10 minutes to nearby Truckee.

Great Cabin!

Walking distance to the lake...super close to Boreal and a lot of hiking trails near by. Easy to get to Truckee.

Absolutely Wonderful Mountain Home

We had a wonderful stay at this spotless home! The house is an older one that has been updated. The kitchen, in particular, is worth note. It is tremendous! Unlike other rentals that are stocked with worn out, cast off, mismatched items, this kitchen has new appearing full sets of dishes, utensils, and cooking and baking items. It is supplied with spices, oils, foil, etc, and condiments in the refrigerator including butter. There was more than enough room for our food items in an empty pantry closet. The house, as shown in photos has both a sitting area and a huge living room with ample seating and a large screen TV. The house is heated with two pellet stoves and several electric wall units plus plug in units if needed. We were warm and cozy our whole stay which was important as we had a baby with us. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of hot water in the two bathrooms. The house is supplied with plenty of towels and linens. The hostess is amazing! She was easy to contact and replied promptly. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would love to stay here again.
