Wonderful lodge in the desert. Very friendly staff, very clean. Rooms have AC. The property has a gorgeous pool and the property is well maintained. The wifi is sluggish, and rooms to not have a refrigerator to keep items cool, however the kitchen bar staff had offered to put a few items in their fridge, however- you need to go there and ask them to hand it to you. I hadn't been optimistic about what we'd find - after all, Solitaire is a small, very remote place. But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the rooms comfortable, a good size and in excellent condition; the restaurant area is terrific and the food very good; the surroundings are quite charming, with a scattered collection of old cars. Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. The Cafe is also the reception and again is a lovely building which served good value and tasty food. The breakfast was very good and the rooms have their own tea/coffee facilities. Our registration on arrival was not comfortable as they did not have our payment through Expedia recorded and we had to provide email receipts as evidence of payment which they questioned extensively. The service at dinner was very slow and although this was paid immediately after, we were questioned at check out regarding our ‘outstanding bill’. Service was not with a smile during our stay and we were not made to feel welcome. However the Lodge is well worth a visit as it has been designed very well, the sunset view was wonderful and the apple pie is very good! ##### Richard 2023 年 8 月入住 1 晚
