“This cabin is so cute and cozy! Oh how I wish I could stay longer!! Would happily live in this cabin forever lol. Amenities are great, you have everything you'd want or need in there. The bathroom/shower was so nice and warm with a built in heater, hot water, and high pressure. Fireplace is great if you know what you're doing and it was just cool enough for us to enjoy. Jeff and his dog are a hoot :) thanks for having us!”

“Spent a week at the property on a fishing trip. Was a fantastic place to come home to after a long day on the water. Within minutes of Ely and several lakes that we fished. Owners accommodated my 21’ boat and were great with any questions we had. Plenty of room for 2 dads and our 2 sons. Just a great week of fishing and a fantastic place to relax. Definitely recommend!”

“Our stay was absolutely phenomenal. A group of 6 of us drove up for the weekend to go atving in the area and this was the perfect spot as we could leave on the utvs right from the property. When we arrived it was easy to check in, the house was spotless, and the attention to detail was actually insane. They had everything we needed and then more. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were the best thing I've ever slept on. This was by far the best experience any of us have had. Thank you so……

“My 2 teen age grandsons (14 & 17) made our 2nd annual grouse hunting trip to Northern MN. Despite rainy conditions, they had a great time, bringing 8 ruffed grouse back to Blaine, MN to share with family! Yum! Cabin was just as listed in VRBO—older but clean, comfortable beds, nice appliances. Owners pleasant and helpful. Thank you!”

“I love staying at Wilderness Wind, and this stay was no different. For me, it's the perfect balance of rustic charm and convenience. I enjoy the electricity and stove in the cabin, but I also like the shared bathrooms and group campfire that give it a camp feel. I felt very safe as a solo traveler, and I had a good time trying out one of the kayaks that are available for guests.”

“Had a wonderful annual holiday with friends. If we weren’t hoping to add another couple next year we would book same again but we need a second shower with more people. The house is spacious and homey and kitchen had everything we needed to cook fish all week. Docks are well maintained and porch and fire pit area were well- enjoyed. We even took the kayak and paddle board for a spin. It was really hard to leave!”

“The communication prior to arrival was awesome and Jay helped us with our reservations even. The resort had everything we needed and was perfect for our young girls to explore. They played in the sand, went fishing, and played with other kids that were staying in the cabins. Definitely planning to be back!”

“Water wasn't Hot, just a little more than warm. Refrigerator - freezer side door holders still fly off and everything hits the floor. Brought it up last year, nothing was fixed. Washer and dryer look identical, would be nice if they were labeled. And the tree on the right side of the driveway should be cut and removed. It cost me $2,000 for a new mirror. TV's should at least have local channels.”

“It was a fabulous modern, updated 3 bedroom, 2 bath rental The extra touches including fully supplied kitchen/baths, comfy beds, furniture, patio chairs/table, big screen tv were all very appreciated The area was very quiet and a close drive/walk to trails and the main street It is a second floor unit so hopefully stairs do not pose a problem for anyone you’re traveling with It was a great rental and would definitely stay again”

“This little motel was dated but one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. Shower was amazing. Bed was comfortable. Check in was wonderful. Lady was so friendly, helpful and gave amazing suggestion for breakfast. We felt so very safe at this motel. Room was very tiny but wonderful.”
