Downtown Reykjavik

Laugardalur
Just east of Reykjavík's city center, Laugardalur offers various recreational facilities, including the main stadium. Known as "hot spring valley," it's perfect for travelers seeking leisure activities.

While there might not be top attractions in Háaleiti, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Kringlan Shopping Mall and Laugardalslaug Geothermal Pool.

Vesturbær

Hlíðar
Though Hlíðar might not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Reykjavik Harbour and Perlan.

Tún
If you're spending some time in Tún, Laugavegur and Hofdi House are top sights worth seeing.

Excellent room based on where you get it. First time was in Junior suite and would rate it the best and second time was in an older section, which was clean but the bathroom was okay.

Hotel Vík í Mýrdal
Very clean room and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was very good and There is also a very nice lounge on the ground floor if you wanted to relax or work.

Grandi by Center Hotels
Great hotel. We arrived at 9 am and they were able to check us in at 10, amazing. Super convenient location.

The rooms were very clean, check in was very easy and the location was excellent

Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel
Ideally situated in the centre of the city just off the main shopping street. Room was warm and very clean. Coffee pods replaced daily and breakfast basket covered breakfast and snacks. Fresh bread hung on door every morning.

The location of the property was excellent for exploring downtown Rekyevik. The apartment was a spacious one bedroom that included a kitchen which was great for cooking breakfast and storing drinks & leftovers.
