Communication with Skykes Cottages was very process heavy tho - we received so many useless emails before the booking, then during the trip there was so many different people to talk to for every problem. “Check in easy, location fabulous. Bed comfortable - we slept really well - must be the sea air! The extra touches for our furry friend were spot on - doggy bowls and doggy treats were most welcome. Only very small gripe - we could’ve done with bigger towels but overall what a lovely break we had. ”

“We absolutely loved the house and the garden. The beds were super comfortable, and we greatly appreciated the many fruits and other food and drink offers. The only bad experience was we didn't receive the email with the code to the key box (which we didn't know existed), and so were expecting to be welcomed by a house manager, who happened to be away and with really bad reception. We spent a good 30 minutes with our kids in the rain, trying to figure out how to get in, and even thinking it was……

“Lovely find for last minute! The cottage was just perfect for what we needed and loved the bbq and fire pit for us to do ourselves, very quiet and is so isolated for location, you could hear a pin drop. Lovely hosts also that showed us around, very friendly and book with all local information and contact information if we needed any help also! "The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly with the hospitality service. Their breakfast or dining area seems lovely although I took it outside instead as there’s so much to do and eat outside the hotel as well. I would loved to stay here once again if I come round for a visit once again. "
