The best way to start the day is with breakfast on the covered terrace, so you can get ready for vacation in the morning. While your children let off steam to their heart's content on the park's own forest playground, you can use the opportunity to do something for yourself. In the complex you will find a sauna area (payable locally). The picturesque town of Stamsried above the Regental is part of the district of Cham and the tourism region "Nature Park of the Upper Bavarian Forest". You can expect blooming meadows, babbling brooks, gentle forest mountains, but no traffic noise. In the center there are nice restaurants, shopping and leisure facilities. There is also a baroque castle with a castle park, a parish church and a market square.
