Welcome to Foxglove, a hidden retreat tucked just past the mouth of the historic Nada Tunnel—where Red River Gorge’s beauty surrounds you on all sides. Perched on a quiet hillside and walking distance to trailheads like Martin’s Fork and Grey’s Arch, this cozy two-story cabin is your gateway to adventure and solitude. Soak in the hot tub beneath a starry sky, sip morning coffee on the deck as fog lifts from the trees, and come home to a space that feels both wild and welcoming.
This idyllic cabin provides all the modern comforts and amenities of a larger home while maintaining the intimate appeal of a smaller space.
Foxglove is equal parts rustic and whimsical. Inside, you’ll find warm wood interiors, comfortable sleeping spaces, and personal touches that reflect the spirit of the Gorge. The kitchen is fully stocked for home-cooked meals, and the deck offers birdsong mornings and quiet sunset hours.
The main floor boasts a warm and inviting dining room, a stylish full bathroom, a cozy bedroom with a view of Peregrine Rock and a well-appointed kitchen. Custom woodworking and a comfy-cozy feel make this space almost as nice as the wrap around porch that has an awesome porch-couch nook, hot tub and fantastic views up and down the main valley of the Red River Gorge.
The fully equipped kitchen exudes a woodland charm with its four-burner electric stove, sink, and refrigerator. Additional amenities such as air conditioning, heating (mini-splits) a fire pit, and convenient road access enhance the overall experience.
Upstairs, a large bedroom awaits, furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed, full sized fold-out couch and custom artwork. Soft, natural light filters through the windows, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding canopy of trees.
Foxglove is conveniently situated just off of Nada Tunnel Road, mere minutes away from major trailheads and world-class climbing spots. Its prime location grants easy access to the breathtaking hikes and exhilarating climbs found in the renowned Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park.
Please note that this cabin is at the end of a 3/4 mile, bumpy, sometimes muddy, gravel road. Some two-wheeled vehicles can make it to the cabin, but four wheel drives have a much easier time. For this reason we highly recommend a 4 or all wheel drive vehicle!
