Ook als het regent kon men goed vermaken in de serre met spelletjes, lezen, enz. Vanuit het huis kan je ook leuke uitstapjes maken naar restauranten, winkels, boodschappen in de nabij omgeving, of een korte rit naar grote steden zoals Monchengladbach, Roermond enz. Het was een leuke tijd samen als gezin, ook met een jongetje van 10 jaar...
