Darsena Sunset Apartment I by Wonderful Italy

Just a short walk from Ortigia, this cozy apartment is located on the first floor of a traditional building with no elevator, in an ideal spot to explore Syracuse on foot. Simply cross the bridge to immerse yourself in the beauty of the island.



The space has a clean, relaxing style, with white walls and soft blue accents. The living area includes a fully-equipped kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, and oven, as well as a dining table with chairs.

The sleeping area features a queen-size bed, a wardrobe, a TV, and a single sofa bed. A movable staircase leads to a loft with large floor cushions — a perfect spot to unwind in a quiet corner.

The bathroom is spacious and bright, equipped with a shower and a washing machine.



Guests can enjoy amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the bedroom, and heating.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best-equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella, and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white color of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoiled and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis, and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are worth a visit. Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi are not to be overlooked. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.



Catania Fontanarossa airport is about 60 km away, and Comiso Pio La Torre airport is 110 km away. Syracuse train station is near the bus terminal from the airport and a 10-minute walk from Ortigia.

L'appartamento è nuovo e molto pulito, dotato di tutti i comfort, doccia spaziosa e ben funzionante. La posizione è ottima, a 2 passi da Ortigia. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, sicuramente da ritornarci!
