“if you’re in Stone Town, this is definitely a great place to stay. Beach is nearby. Manager is amazing, he provided someone with an umbrella, let me borrow a charger adapter, gave me a map of the town, helped me get to the beach, offered complimentary drink & I was able to check in early. I loved it here so much. The rooftop was amazing, the food was excellent & the staff was friends. I felt safe here & very welcomed. Thank you for hosting me!”

“Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. “This is a pretty nice local hotel.The staff is amazingly nice and helpful. I chose Nefaland because it is right across the street from the ABC Upper Class ticketing office. I use them when traveling to Iringa because I can board the bus directly at their office before they head out to the bus station on the limits of Dar es Salaam. “I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. ”
