Centrally located and very close to multiple restaurants in prime part of Caye Caulker and within walking distance from ferry. This hotel is a gem and glad we found it. Convenience floor downstairs is also a plus and makes for quick and easy shopping.

They(staff) intentionally said that the water went bad, but I learned from a staff member after complaining about not being able to flush the toilet 🚽 or take a shower 🚿 that they purposely turn the water off every night. "Absolutely loved my stay here! I wish I could live there. The hotel room was humongous and had every amenity that I needed. Great water pressure in the shower. Huge balcony; the room also had a mini fridge, which came in handy to keep my water cold (it was very hot & humid in Belize) and my fruits. It's also super close to the ferry port, a mere 5-minute walk. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in my life. Great place! I would definitely stay there again if I visit Caye Caulker"

"I love Barefoot in Caye Caulker. It's very centralized to the ferry, The Strip, hardwood gym is a short walk and stingray beach, and Tarpon feeding is literally 100 ft away! The beds are comfy and I noticed a few bathroom updates too!
Customer service is friendly and very attentive to things I may have needed throughout my week stay.

"The Blue Hole Apt. Was beautifully furnished. The pictures do not do it justice ! It has all the homey amenities- dishwasher, coffee machine, stove, ice maker and fresh water tower. The property is within walking distance of lots of food spots, bars, excursion companies and is a short golf cart ride away from the split. Lovely place to stay!!"

"I’ve been traveling to Caye Caulker for 15 years and have stayed at the Plaza many times. I have to assume there is a new owner b/c you’ve gone way down hill. Checking out and moving locations and will not stay a second night. The beds used to be luxurious with nice new linens. No longer. The towels are old and frayed. The toilet doesn’t work because you don’t maintain your property. You are nowhere near capacity and our room is next to the bar w/LOUD music from noon to 1:30AM. Never again bye"
"Loved the location, such an amazing place in the most convenient area right across from the beach. I could not of been happier with my stay in this little guest house. Everyone in the area was friendly and helpful as well, I have to note that I appreciated the cleanliness of the linen and the amount given it made a huge difference. The guesthouse is 3 min walk from the main road, The Split is less than 10 min walk I felt no need to rent a golf cart staying in this location. "

"Property was nice, clean and easy to get to. Bikes were provided which made it easy to get around the island.The dock was very relaxing but you can not swim from it. ( crocodile warning ) there is a pool there and beaches just a short bike ride away. the area is quiet and relaxing with lots of activities just across the split. we did a day long snorkeling excursion with nautitime tours they took pictures with a gopro camera giving us pictures at no additional cost we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others!"
"A sparsely accommodated, utilitarian living space within a 100% concrete block structure. A/C worked well. Pack your own coffee filter, ice trays, dish towels, and washcloths. Mattresses have seen better days but are comfortable. Loud karaoke bars in front, back and side of property. Bring ear plugs!"

"The top floor studio was everything we could have asked for with my wife and I staying there for 5 days. The property itself was well maintained and the top floor view was unbelievable. Bikes were a great help to explore the north side of the island. It is the quiet side but an easy pontoon ride from the water taxi to the southside's abundance of restaurants and nightlife. Loved it and would recommend!"
