The Wee Nook, just 3 miles from Carver Landing!

  • The Wee Nook is a cottage tucked away in a peaceful, lovely location near the national park. Use it as a base for hiking nearby trails, or floating the Buffalo River (just 3 miles from Carver Landing). There are six Highland cows that roam the pastures surrounding the home, along with plenty of wildlife on the property. There's a wet-weather creek that flows from approximately December to April (depending on rain fall). Come relax in the gorgeous Ozarks!

    ***I will send you a map pin, as the address isn't recognized by map apps*** Also please note the home is down a mile long gravel driveway, with a steep hill. I've had no trouble in my 2wd SUV, but I don't recommend motorcycles!!

The Wee Nook is very clean, cozy and comfortable. I felt at home, away from home. (Actually the bed was more comfortable than my bed at home). I also enjoyed taking pictures of the goats and cows.

This home is just as cute and adorable as can be! Exactly as is shown in the photos. Extremely clean and very well stocked in the kitchen, bath and laundry area. Very reasonably priced! Ashley is a great hostess! Thank you so much for everything! Would definitely stay again.

It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing after a day of hiking and time spent on the Buffalo National River! It was awesome to wake up and enjoy our French pressed coffee with the highland cows (and goat)!

Awesome little place in the perfect area! Everything you need in a tidy package. The bed was also really comfortable. My son loved the highland cows and goats! We also had a little bunny visit a few times which he got a kick out of for sure. Greta place for an Upper Buffalo float. We grabbed supper on the way back in Jasper which made the perfect round trip after spending the day on the river

Cabin was perfect, clean and well stocked. Host was amazing, great communication. The only drawback was the road that led down to the cabin, very steep and very rocky. We have a mid size SUV but we struggled to get back up the driveway.

We enjoyed our second stay at the Wee Nook as much as our first, and we will be back in the future. It is pristinely clean and extremely comfortable. Ashley, the host, is top notch. Everything was peaceful and lovely.
