There is a lot more to Pisa than the famous Leaning Tower!
If you get some extra time, I would recommend you hit the Marina di Pisa. It is only a 20 mins drive from the city, and in my opinion it is worth the detour.
The walk at sunset by the Arno bank in the estuary is brilliant. This is from there that I got this photo of those fishing huts.
Also, the Yacht Club in the middle of the marina is an amazing spot to watch sunset and enjoy a Spritz!

"We had pre paid our booking, but the hotel couldn’t confirm the payment. Even though we had confirmation and receipt to show. The personal was a bit difficult. But I called Hotels and the talked to the hotel and fixed it. So that we could leave. But a bit unpleasant experience. "

"Stayed here for a week on a school residential, would highly recommend. The rooms each have air conditioning units and were spacious for plenty of individuals to stay. The pool was a brilliant size that was cleaned daily and there was enough sunbeds for people to relax. Owner was onsite at all times, but you would not have even known she was there as she did not disturb us, unless we needed help. "This was a good experience! We were welcomed by the owners son, who made us feel very welcome and made us 2 fresh cappuccinos on arrival. The view of the landscape from this location was breathtaking. The room was very pretty with exposed brickwork and arches. "Front desk agent Sandra was greeting us on arrival, explaining all features of the hotel and restaurants in the surrounding area. As we couldn't enjoy the breakfast after our second night, she made all arrangements to have us the food in the room from the night before. Beautiful view of the sea could be found on their solarium on the 3rd floor."

"We stayed for one night and would definitely stay again. The room was spacious and my daughters loved having their own beds versus sharing a sofa bed. Room was very clean and a/c worked well. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The area was quiet but only a few minutes walk to the train station, shopping and restaurants. The tower was an easy 15 minute walk. Staff were helpful and shuttle to airport was quickly arranged. It is easy to walk to the station to go to/from the airport but it was pouring so nice to have the shuttle option. "
