"Hilary and Graham were fantastic hosts, super knowledgeable, we felt right at home. Breakfast was great too and their garden was perfect for enjoying the sun. Would recommend!"

"We had lovely hosts! The breakfast was delicious and we could've only wished to have stayed longer!
The airline forgot our luggage and our hosts were most kind and helpful while getting things settled for the airline to deliver our bag.
The place was warm and inviting, and was well kept! Next door was a pub with delicious food as well and very convenient. We could not recommend this place enough!"

"Midweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay.
The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays.
The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions
We would highly recommend "

"With having dogs with us we were away from people coming & going which would making them bark, only to say thst there was someone there, not a continuous bark. It was so lovely & quit so managed to grt a good nights sleep, would definitely stay again"
"The hotel is well situated in the centre of Bakewell, only stayed for one night in a classic room (the basic) which was large, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in hotel restaurant the evening menu was a bit limited for me (I’m a fussy eater) but the food was good, breakfast was excellent good variety on continental and freshly cooked hot breakfast and the dining room staff were friendly and helpful. All together I have no complaints "
"Spa is great, but bear in mind that it's not included into ones stay at the hotel. You'll need to call the spa reception and book it separately, and tell your bank details by phone.
Also the range of rooms at the hotel don't match with the one at hotels.com. I paid for a suit and hotel's reception got it from the site as "executive". Next time I'll just book it directly with the Ringwood "
"Had a lovely stay here as was down to visit Emma Bridgewater.
The hotel was central with excellent parking across the road .
we had a lovely twin room which was spacious and modern and clean . The reception staff were friendly and helpful .
A nice busy bar with friendly staff which we enjoyed a drink in in the evening . We didn't dine in the hotel as ventured out in the evening to support the local businesses.
Didn't try the gym . The only downside is there was no spa / sauna / pool but we knew that before we went .
I would definately stay again . "
"Lovely location, great facilities, pleasant staff, price sensible accommodation, only criticism was the menu didn’t change - gets a bit boring if your staying more than a couple of nights - but the rest was great ! "
