We loved our stay! The apartment was very close to a train station, several conbinis and multiple great restaurants. The owner was very easy to get ahold of and communicated efficiently. Even sent a list of recommended things for the area. It's a very residential area, mostly quiet. Had a few nights with boisterous neighbors but nothing some earplugs couldn't handle. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal and I missed it as soon as I got home haha 10/10 would stay again!

Pros: - Very close to the station, only about a 2 minute walk away from the train - Close to several convenience stores; we very often stopped at the 24/7 Family Mart to pick up snacks or food when we didn't feel like going out farther for food. - In-room washing machine, so you can wash your clothes. - In-room kitchen to make food if you so desire. - Umbrella left outside for us for rainy days Cons: - No clothes drier, so you have to let your clothes air dry - The room is tiny, so you will be stepping over whoever you're staying with to get around (to be expected in Tokyo though at this price point) - The garbage bins in the room are tiny, and there's not a very good place to leave trash outside on the roof where they tell you to put it. If I were to improve it I would put 3 big bins for guests to put their garbage bags for trash, bottles, and cans respectively. Overall, this is a great place to stay for the price.

I stayed here for 21 days. The place had everything I needed! Bed, kitchen, bathroom, washing machine for clothes. Even though I was a solo traveler, the place is quite small. Not much bigger than a one bedroom business hotel. I don't know if two people would be comfortable in my particular room. Upon arriving, the room was extremely hot. It took a good three hours for the room to cool down with the AC, but it's the middle of July, and I don't think anyone used the place before me for quite some time, thus the room heated up. It could also be that my room was on the top floor, so direct sunlight on the roof makes the room hotter. Very close to Umeyashiki station and the Keikyu line. You're literally feet away from a Family mart, and an OK Supermarket is a good 5-10 minute walk away. There are plenty of shopping streets nearby, and Tokyo Station is 30 minutes away by train. Shibuya is 40 minutes away. Haneda airport is 25-30 minutes away. For the keikyu line, get on a local train to Heiwajima station, then quickly get on an express or rapid to reduce commute times. I'm going to miss this place.

Located a few minutes walk from Umeyashiki Station, this property is within a friendly neighborhood surrounded with many restaurants, small grocery stores and convenience stores. The property is clean and fully furnished with a kitchen (including a two burner stove, fish grill, sink, dishes and utensils), mini fridge, table, chairs, television, bed, prefabricated bathroom and ample storage. I was located on the third floor and since there’s no elevator and I was coming in about an hour away from my previous accommodation just as typhoon no. 6 was coming (it hit the same day as check-in), with the staff’s permission, I had my luggage sent a couple days prior and arrive shortly after check-in. The staff was very communicative the whole time and responded very quickly. There’s no Airport shuttle, but the train station is a 3 minute walk away and takes about 20 minutes to get to Haneda Airport, which is convenient if you’re traveling light, or you can call for a taxi and get there in 15 minutes. Getting to Central Tokyo takes about 25 to 40 minutes depending on which station and line you transfer to. The price is very reasonable too. I highly recommend booking a stay here if you don’t want to be in a densely populated area but can still reach Central Tokyo and Yokohama within minutes and feel relaxed.
