Very nice place. Enjoyed my one night. A lot of care went into to crafting the room, which I appreciate. Clean room and hospitable staff. Would recommend.

Amazing job from the front end of the property with amazing service (I noticed a bad smell from my room and was switched to a different room immediately) and a really easy/modern approach to check in (done entirely from my phone). I like that it’s an unpretentious hotel but with pretentious perks. Can be loud in the evenings.. will definitely try to be part of the party next time. Thank you for an awesome stay annex

Love the uniqueness…but the fact that you cannot walk around the bed makes it difficult to get in and out of it. Maybe okay if you’re young but as a senior not so much.

Check in/out process is simple and straightforward. We checked ourselves in when we were waiting to get off the plane. So when we arrived at the hotel, we just went straight to our room. Our enquires (via text messages) were answered promptly. I wish more hotels operate like this. It is true that on Saturday night, the music from below was noticeable on the second floor. We were tired after spending the day in the city anyway, so that didn’t affect our sleep. It was a very pleasant stay.

The location is great, and the hotel is trendy. But, they are not on top of some of the key details. Such as, no tissue in the room, no backup toilet paper, the blinds are slightly too small for the windows, so sun streaming in early in the morning. Overall it was cool, and the area is great. But can't say it was worth the cost.

Overall it was a nice experience. We loved the diverse neighborhood and the creative and progressive vibes of the hotel. The staff are great and very helpful. The room could use some improvement though. For example, the walls showed rustic traces and holes. There was no kettle to make tea or coffee inside. No tv, there were books instead which I find an awesome idea but some guests might miss a traditional TV.

The room was spacious and clean. The record player was a nice added touch. Exceptional service from staff. Large windows but unfortunately I couldn't enjoy the view because the roller blinds were broken.

This unassuming hotel is a bit off the beaten path, but convenient to the streetcar service into the heart of the city. Comfortable, European-style room. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We were surprised, and pleased, that coffee and pastries were complementary in the morning, and the lobby area offered a convenient, comfortable place to enjoy them. No hotel parking, although there are several lots and garages nearby that are affordable. Loads of shopping and dining options nearby, in easy walking distance.

Room matched the photos and bed was comfy. Check in was easy albeit make sure you complete the pre-check-in form which (it turns out) is mandatory. No coffee in the rooms which I didn't love but the coffee downstairs in the reception was *amazing* (!!!) My one main complaint is that it was pretty noisy / the rooms weren't very well insulated. I'm not sure if there's a way to better insulate the doors (?) but I was very aware of noise coming from the corridor (other doors opening/closing, folks walking up and down). Generally a good experience and great location. I was able to store my luggage on the last day before going to the airport which I was super grateful for. Maybe not for fussy sleepers / anyone looking to get an early night. But otherwise-a good stay!

We came for an overnight visit to see a concert and found it very easy to check-in and check-out. Everyone was very nice and the hotel was easy to get in touch with. I was a little confused about breakfast as they said complimentary but after ordering, it was specified what was and wasn’t included and I ended up paying extra. Otherwise, great hotel.
