Historic decor.
Owner on-site and very helpful. The suite was decorated in antiques and thoughtfully stocked with such things as personal bug spray, water, creamers/tea, etc. The "free parking" was on the public streets and square but the owner assisted us in making sure we were not in the wrong place at the wrong time. The continental breakfast delivered to the suite was nice. The public areas were a little worn and the elevator was a little scary... but the suite was in great shape. A/C was only in the BR. Plenty of hot water, good location for walking to the fisherman's market, old town and restaurants, etc. Easy drive to cable car to Erice.

Wonderful large apartment, very clean and Staff and owner very helpful. Only down side is that there is some refurbishment being undertaken. This does not affect the stay but may be a bit off putting when you arrive. Free bicycles are a major plus for getting around. Just up the same road into town is I Grilli great place to eat with a friendly owner and great staff.

Great location for our visit, large rooms well decorated. Our host made us feel at home and was very helpful throughout our stay, even gave me a warmer jacket and umbrella to use!

Rocco rocks!
Great host Rocco and location is wonderful location. Try to get to the terrazza it has amazing views! The rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again. Grazie mille Rocco for your advice.

Lovely old manse run by the best proprietor
A lovely old stately manse that is being restored gradually. The suites are very large and ring regal from a bygone century. They are comfortable and the owner is fabulous. His purpose is to make you happy and help you with everything. Great moderate price too. Breakfast is a bit on the light side but fine.

Great value for money
It was a bit difficult to get there without GPS, but once there we were really happy with our choice. Free parking right outside of the place, and we were welcomed by the friendly man at reception with tips on what to do. The room was HUGE and more than a B&B we felt like we were in a museum, as decoration is full of interesting old pieces of everyday Italian life. Having access to free bikes was excellent, even if the city centre is less than 10 minutes away on foot.

Very poor value, look elsewhere.
Grossly overpriced, 40 euro for suite with marina view would have bee plenty! The overall quality of this suite was similar to a hostel with no effort put into making it feel welcoming or cumfortable. Talking to others in the adjoining room was very difficult due to echos!, And locals in the next flat talking / arguing for ages. Breakfast was a non-event; (had to preorder what you would like the night before and a trolly dolly brought it to your room next morning), a plastic cup with juice, half cup of warm coffee with no milk, a yogurt and a budget croissant. You can find much better places than this for your money, cannot understand how people can give it such glowing reviews - they must be used to staying in garden sheds!

Very nice B&B Hotel
We had a very gracious and helpful host. Our room was large and centrally located. Parking was on-street but had no problem finding some.....easy driving into and out of town. The area is walkable and and the hotel is close to the centre of town. We were supplied with a very nice breakfast delivered to our room every morning....also had a coffee machine in the room which is a bonus for us coffee drinkers.

Excellent position, apartment and host.
Fabulous gentleman greeted us, gave us lots of information about where to eat and what to see. The apartment on the top floor was beautiful with lots of space, antique furniture and a sea view. The bathroom suite was brand new and well executed. The apartment consisted of a good sized bedroom, a lounge - diner with views over the sea and an acceptionally large bathroom and a kitchen with complimentary espresso machine (full use of the kitchen would have been an extra charge). In addition there was access to a shared roof terrace with 360 degree views. Also available were bicycles to explore the area which is very flat. A great location as it was a short stroll to the centro storico. Very grand atmospheric with places to enjoy an aperitif and passiagata. We bumped into our host who led us to see a wonderful church with the 12 stations of the cross which are part of the Easter procession on the town. The breakfast was excellent and delivered by our wonderful host in the morning to our apartment. When we left our host also gave us top tips of what to see on our onward journey. We cannot believe Howe incredible this place was or how helpful our host was. A definite gem. We would easily return.

Wonderful hotel in the old city part of Trapani
What a delightful stay we had at this older and quaint hotel right near the tip of old Trapani - walking distance to the harbor, the restaurants, the fishing piers, and the old and beautiful part of the town. The room rate was very reasonable for a 2 bedroom suite, with private bath. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Rocco, the manager of the hotel, is a lively, interesting gentleman who was very helpful in picking restaurants and shops in the town. My daughter and I had a wonderful visit there, and we look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Trapani.

Small place, big personality
Little place with big personality. The staff, and by staff I mean Rocco, was as helpful as can be. Instead of providing breakfast, he gave us a voucher for a cappuccino and a coronetto from a cafe a block away. Honestly, we were thrilled. Better than hotel coffee and pastry, plus we could get it any time we wanted. The room had a ton of personality. Antique furniture, beautiful view of the water and a full kitchen. Make sure you get up early to catch sunrise on the roof, it has an amazing view.

Perfect spot.
A perfect stop. The rooms are larger than most. There's a sitting room, antique furniture, bathroom with two sinks and a separate area for the toilet. Owner is very informative and has free bikes to use. Breakfast is in a cafe down the street and is just a croissant, coffee or tea.

The hotel is in a convenient location, 5 minutes walk away from the town centre and about 10 minutes to the port. The room was clean and furnished with all the necessities, however, I just did not find it cozy/comfortable. Not enough electric sockets, very loud AC unit (?) outside. Bicycles are available free of charge - very useful as the nearest decent beach (san giuliano) is a bit out of town. The owner was helpful with maps & timetables.

We arrived to find that we had to go to a cafe 350m away for 1 croissant and 1 coffee for breakfast (I would never have chosen this property if I had known) The suite was nice and very clean. The bed very comfortable. The place was like a maze (we had to go through a series of doors to get in and out) Our shower hook had fallen off the wall (and no shower curtain) so couldn't shower. The bath tap just dribbles, so a bath was out of the question. We were given a key to the single room next door which had a good shower but a bit of a performance

Non è il solito B&B&. Struttura molto particolare, ambiente ricercatamente antico, appartamenti come stare in una antica dimora d'altri tempi. Proprietario gentilissimo e ottimo consigliere sia per visite fuori Trapani, sia per locali dove cenare alla sera.

O hotel é muito bem localizado. Recebi um upgrade do Sr Rocco, muitíssimo atencioso, a suíte muito bem cuidada com móveis antigos em excelente estado de conservação, limpíssima, com quatro ambientes, tudo funcionando, máquina de café expresso, caputinno etc. linda vista para praça é só fundo o Porto. As bicicletas perfeitas, o Sr. Rocco, sempre dando o apoio e informações.

Assolutamente impagabile
Non vi sentirete in un B&B ma a casa di uno zio trapanese. Il signor Rocco non è solo un perfetto padrone di casa, è innamorato del suo Bastione Imperiale che cura e segue con attenzione. Allo stesso modo cura e segue i suoi ospiti, per cui più che in un'ottima struttura ci si sente a casa, dove c'è qualcuno che pensa cosa potrebbe esserci utile o farci piacere e ce lo propone. Detto questo, le stanze hanno la struttura a suite (Rocco me le ha mostrate quasi tutte, comprese quelle in allestimento), con salottino, bagno e camera da letto, arredate in stile, pulite a specchio, ben condizionate e con frigo, bollitore e macchina del caffè espresso (cialde incluse, ovvio). Wi-Fi veloce e costante. Colazione servita in camera all'ora scelta (ottimo il cornetto), bici a disposizione, bella terrazza panoramica al secondo piano... Io ci sono stata per lavoro, ma Rocco è riuscito a farmi sentire anche in vacanza.
