“A perfect spot to get away from the busy Melbourne everyday grind. Friendly, loveable doggies greeted us for a play after we were welcomed by geese and chooks. The modern cottage was so very peaceful, clean, comfortable and the walk down to the river was lovely! Gorgeous location to use as a base with mod cons to come home to. Thank you so much to the hosts for a super clean, comfortable and gorgeous location. We wish we could’ve stayed longer ”

“Loved the cottage. Clean, comfortable, well appointed with everything we needed. Fabulous location and really enjoyed the fresh mountain air and breakfast with the birds. Short walk down the hill into the main street.”

“We spent two nights at this property and enjoyed the location and comfort of this home.The only letdown was bed sheets and bedding which did not smell nice and not felt clean, when i removed blanket from one of single bed, there were hair on bed. Overall host was easy to connect responsive. House had everything.”

“My family stayed at Jacomb's Cottage (me, my husband, two teenage daughters and my parents-in-law from overseas). It is such a cute, comfortable and historical cottage! We had a lovely time. The cottage is a short walking distance to almost everything in town. We loved all the history in Walhalla, the walks in the hillside nearby, the gold mine and we even did a ghost tour! “Whitlow Manor was perfect for our weekend away with friends. The lounge, kitchen, dinning and fireplace are all in the one open living area, and the town centre located only a short walk away. Helena and Nathan made the weekend easy by providing clear instructions on accesing and using the property, and suggesting activities and eating venues to visit in the region. We even received a phone call to make sure all the information got through to us! I'm planning to return with the family and……

“After the initial problem getting in to the property we found it a very neat tidy cottage with a nicely appointed kitchen. All areas have been renovated, comfy bed in front bedroom. Things that would improve this property : .Definitely front door needs attention .Flyscreen Security doors front & back to enable air flow. .TV remote in bedroom didnt work(not a major thing) .Unable to hook up DVD to TV(this more likely my lack of technical ability & also not big deal) .Can opener would be handy ”

“The cabin was super cute, clean and fresh. The wood fire heater was so lovely and the place was still warm in the morning. The bed was extra comfy. Mel was so welcoming and even let me feed the sheep. There was a lovely welcome gift and plenty of stocked foods. Nothing at all to fault. ”
