Fantastic hotel, super helpful and friendly staff. Spa services and attached restaurant were excellent. Only drawback is that there is NOT a gym, they have an agreement with a place around a 20 minute unpleasant walk from the hotel.

Loved our 4 nights at Origin. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, went above and beyond throughout our stay. The facilities were great, everything was well maintained and clean. Daily room service. Breakfast available in your room which is nice. Felt very private. The walk into Ubud centre was 10-15 minutes. Loved our time there and would highly recommend.

My stay here was absolutely amazing! I’m a solo traveller and I spent my birthday weekend here before going to Uluwatu and I’d 100% stay again. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The villa was beyond what I expected. I wish I spent more time in the villa. I felt safe, welcomed. The staff even sang happy birthday for me which was more than I could ask for. As someone that was struggling to find somewhere for my visit, Im glad I choose Origin Ubud <3

The hotel absolutely lived up to our expectations. It has a very convenient location, close to the center of Ubud and ideal for exploring the surrounding area and taking excursions. Our room was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed, with a truly scenic view. The service was excellent, from the moment we arrived, with special thanks to Supini. All the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, friendly, and always smiling. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great selection and quality. recommended!

The staff was absolutely Amazing ! The location was perfect and the rooms were beautiful . The open air bathroom brings in bugs and heat so keeping the doors closed is A must . The staff here goes above and beyond and honestly would go back !

We had a brilliant time at Origin Ubud. The villas were conveniently located close to the restaurants and shops but slightly away from the business. The hotel staff and in particular Supini were very attentive. They stayed in touch regularly through WhatsApp to arrange for breakfast and also helped us organise day trips and transport. We felt very welcomed and looked after. The villa itself had plenty of space and it was great to have the pool. Minimal negatives to the stay, only downside was construction work at the back of our villa which could be heard whilst relaxing outside in the day. There was also a sewage odour from the bathroom which was at times unpleasant.

The room was so clean and bed was very comfortable. We loved using our own pool everyday and the place was very quite peaceful and relaxing. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing and brought us the breakfast everyday; night time snacks and a mosquito deterrent. Definetly would stay here again! Too gorgeous location as well.

Friendly staffs, great location

Nice and very helpful staffs, the room is very comfortable and close to the monkey forest and Ubud palace. Breakfast is the most wonderful dinning experience here, can’t miss it. Highly recommend the this hotel.

Next to Ubud center, 10 min walk. Really calm and beautiful one-bedroom mini-villa with swimming pool. Loved it! Afternoon free sorbet, tasty morning in room breakfast. Clean and cool guests.

2 room villa was perfect

Our villa was amazing. The two rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were so attentive and helpful. We really enjoyed the daily breakfast. The pool was nice and clean and perfect in the hot weather. The whole villa was a nice relaxing getaway that was so enjoyable to stay in.

We had a fantastic stay here, such a peaceful spot but so easy to walk into the centre of Ubud. The staff were amazing, the in-villa massages we had were fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The nearby area had some great cafes and warungs and there is a Kecak fire dance that takes place literally across the road. It was a great spot to truly relax. We definitely plan on staying here again when we return to Ubud.

Staff are exceptionally helpful and understanding especially Mr. Aditya. Cleanliness and hygiene was great especially the private pool which was very clean. Location is ok if you do not mind a 7 mins walk to the main street. Villa however requires some refurbrishment as furnitures and cabinets started to show signs of aging especially in the washroom. Overall a great stay.

Origin was unfortunately a disappointment from booking through to our stay. Despite their amazing reviews, they were unresponsive to multiple (5 messages and 3 calls) attempts to confirm an extra bed for my 3rd child. After finally engaging 24hrs before arrival to confirm this (at a cost - eventually waived), they forgot it anyway. They rectified it and apologised, however it was a lot of work for one ask. The villa is a hotel room at best (no real facilities a villa would have, beyond the pool - no kitchenette, plates, cutlery etc) and so much in the 'villa' broken (lights not working, bath drain not functioning, with no hot water). Location is ok - no view that makes you feel like you are on Ubud and not the prettiest spot on the street, some places to eat scattered around, close to the market. Positives: the 'villa' garden/pool is pretty, they can deliver breakfast to your room. Overall, wouldn't recommend for the price.

Excellent service crew especially Aditya who was very warm and friendly and took care of our group during our entire stay. It was convenient that massage can be ordered to our room and we could just WhatsApp the property to order our breakfast before the next morning. There are food stalls just opposite the property and really good for local fare. Whenever we made a request they were prompt to attend to our needs. Our 2 bedroom cabana pool unit was great for us. The bathroom sometimes smell of drainage but hotel added aromatherapy and it made the whole room smell great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Origin Ubud and will certainly return to stay again next time.

Everything about this stay was incredible. I’ve never experienced service as I did at Origin ever in my life. The rooms are gorgeous, the stay is absolutely incredible. I will be staying here again in the future.

The villas are super cute and clean. The service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. All of the staff were great but Sukma was superb! Every morning they bring your breakfast at whatever time you prefer and offered housekeeping at your time preference. 10/10 can’t wait to come back!!!
