"Our experience with a stay at this lodge was so incredible. We stayed in cabin #8, which was small but very cozy. Our family of 5 slept all together which we don’t get to do often so was fun! The kids all had their own bed as there were still 4 beds. We had a full kitchen and bathroom as well. The cabin was very clean and well prepared for guests. There is water front swimming and docks. "What a hidden gem! We stayed in the beach cabin, which we found to be surprisingly roomy, rustic (in the very best sense), fully equipped, and spotless. Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions. Our favorite part, however, was the location: Rainy Lake on your doorstep, a great beach, and the enchanting Northern Bush all around. "Our family of 6 (kids ages 3-18) had a wonderful stay at the Citadel. The owner, Grahame, answered all of our questions and was more than accommodating during our stay. The Citadel is tucked away down a short gravel road and the view can’t be beat. Watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee is a must.
