I booked a 2 night stay for our elderly parents through Expedia. Upon checking in, my husband advised the hotel staff that the 2nd night was not required and he would like to cancel he 2nd night The hotel told him that was possible; however, for the refund we would have to contact Expedia. He contacted Expedia right away. Expedia contacted Larkspur and Expedia was told that no refund could be issued once check in had occurred. As this sounded quite ridiculous, my husband went to the hotel to speak with the “manager”. He was told by this manager that she could not refund the full amount. We also found out the hotel was able to book our parents’ room to another guest for the second night. The amount the manager of Larkspur refunded to us was $20. We have traveled extensively over the years and have never, I repeat never, experienced such dismal customer service. The manager was in no way helpful, and considering the room was able to be rented for the 2nd night, she should not be the person addressing guests’ concerns. Avoid this hotel unless you’re 100% certain you will not need to cancel or change your stay. In fact, I suggest you avoid booking this hotel at all costs, and seek alternative hotels in the Roseville area.

Need a marquee that is visible. I could not locate it from the street. No elevator if you have heavy baggage. Rooms have no microwave and no sink. We stayed for 5 nights so a microwave would help.

The room was average for $250/night. The chairs in the room were uncomfortable. The TV in the room was small with poor picture clarity. The room was clean and the staff was excellent!
