"Awesome place! The cabin is tucked away on a nice little pond, super quiet, and just a nice spot to relax. Very cozy and comfortable!The host was super nice and had everything set up with some nice little touches that made the stay easy.If you want a chill, peaceful place to get away for a bit, this one’s perfect. I definitely would and probably will stay again!"

"We absolutely loved the time spent at Hill House! From the moment pulled in the driveway we instantly it instantly felt like home. Not fancy, but the elements and creature comforts that make a house a home. And SPACE!! Very spacious!! Plenty of room for families to gather, and then some! Need something you forgot to pack, and not already provided (unimaginable!! ), shopping options aren’t far. Comfortable living room & comfy furnishings. for all to gather. Comfortable beds & pillows. And the rooms individually heated to what best suits your preference. Having come in to visit family, Hill House was a great central location for us to see them all without bouncing around taking up precious visitation opportunities. Be sure to consider (and Book!) when in search of a place to stay in Southern Illinois. From parks, hiking trails, Rend Lake, to a multitude of dining &/or shopping options within easy reach. We highly recommend!"
