With no-one around, we used the code they sent to get into the reception. We were not able to get into the room, even though it was available. At 3 pm the receptionist arrived. Even though no-one else was around and we were obviously waiting, she did not offer to check us in until we asked if we can check in “early”, apparently as a favour. The rather late...

"Management was not to be seen. A lot of undertrained staff. The main hotel is in very poor condition and needs major renovations. Hygiene can be seriously improved. "This was a great place to stay. Spotless room, very helpful desk staff, and exceptional breakfast (included) in a lovely dining room. For those who have a car, parking is free. A small downside for those with arthritis in their hands: the soap is liquid in plastic bottles that are very difficult to squeeze. You might want to bring your own bar soap."
