My husband and I came to Las Vegas to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. After our flight was delayed three times, we didn't arrive at the hotel until 3:00 a.m. on Friday. During check-in, the front desk employee specifically asked if we wanted housekeeping service during our stay, and I clearly said yes.
On Friday morning, we left the room expecting housekeeping to service it while we were out. When we returned that evening, the room had not been cleaned. I called Guest Services and was told that I had declined housekeeping for my entire stay, which was completely inaccurate. They apologized, said they would correct the issue, and promised service would begin the next day. They also offered to send towels to the room.
On Saturday, after being out all day, we returned to find that our room still had not been serviced. When I called Guest Services again, the representative hung up on me. I called back and was transferred to another department, where I was once again told that I had declined housekeeping for the entire trip. They offered to send more towels and promised housekeeping would start the following day—Sunday, our last full day.
My husband and I went out to eat and returned, but the towels never arrived. I then went to the front desk in person, where the employee repeatedly insisted that I had declined housekeeping services, despite my explaining multiple times that I had not. He assured me someone would bring towels immediately.
