West-side beaches are the best on Oahu, less crowded than virtually anywhere else on the island. Makaha Beach is just the beginning. World-class surfers and locals alike call these waves home and it's also great for swimming and having fun in the surf. Spectacular, uncrowded Makua Beach is just minutes away. The gorgeous, sandy beach runs for hundreds of yards. This is a popular spot for photo shoots and engagements. The setting is breathtaking. Beyond the beach, of course, is the sparkling turquoise Pacific Ocean where you may see curious green sea turtles or playful dolphins frolicking. Farther west is Yokohama Bay and its wonderful half-mile stretch of white sand. At the end of the road is the hiking trail to Kaena Point where you'll see waves crashing along the rocky inlets and perhaps nesting albatross.
Right in Waianae, Pokai Bay Beach Park features a clean, protected bay perfectly suited for swimming and sunning.
And because this is the West side, all of these beaches are fantastic for watching the gloriously unmatched sunset.




Our studio unit is bright and cheery. You'll find a comfortable queen bed and a full kitchen with ample cooking tools and utensils. Coffee maker, microwave, rice cooker, blender, food processor. Granite counter tops, a stainless steel fridge and glass-top range. The dining area has a newly repainted counter-height table and stools.

Our comfortable sofa is great for just chilling or watching TV. We have a 42-inch smart TV with Spectrum cable with high-speed wifi.

Out on the lanai, you'll find two deck chairs and a drink table to enjoy your morning coffee or a cold beverage while taking in the verdant Waianae Mountains and the beautiful, blue Pacific Ocean. You will rarely find these spectacular, unobstructed views at any price anywhere on Oahu.

We provide beach chairs, an umbrella, body boards, a cooler and ice packs, perfect for a day at the beach. The famous Makaha Beach Park is nearby as are Pokai Bay Beach Park, Makua Beach and Yokohama Bay. Ko Olina Resort is half an hour away.

The grounds feature soothing landscaping, leading to a pristine salt-water pool surrounded by a stone deck with umbrella-shaded tables or chaise lounges to stretch out on.

Near the pool is an excellent barbecue and picnic area with six clean, well-kept gas grills and ample picnic tables to enjoy outdoor dining. It's a really cool area when the tiki torches are lit just prior to sunset.
