This beach house is the perfect location for exploring the Kapiti coast.

A recently renovated retreat with all day sun. Enjoy endless summer days on a large private deck, with stunning elevated views of Kapiti Island, all the way down to the South Island.

The beach is just across the road and close to all the amenities you're likely to want: 5 minutes walk to a park, 3 cafes, shops, take-aways and tennis court; and the golf course is just up the road.

Lovely house on the hill
The house is full of character and very comfy especially beds , certainly not new but it has all you need and a great deck overlooking the beach (rare thing in Waikanae!! ) House was a bit musty when we arrived but it aired out quickly - all the provisions and utensils are there and the heat pump worked very nicely to keep us warm . House is really close to the beach and the cafes - just a few mins walk - we had a wonderful stay !!

Grove Hill was a perfect location for our family gathering of four adults and four children - one in a cot which was provided. The location was hard to beat, very near Waikanae beach, with playground across the road and cafes around the corner. The layout of the house was brilliant, with spacious kitchen, dining area, living area, sun room and stunning balcony, where we all gathered to enjoy the sun and view of Kapiti Island. The house was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed, including books, games and toys, and barbecue in the back garden. We would love to stay here again if the occasion arises

Great stay in Waikanae
We had previously stayed at Jeff's place and had such a nice time that we decided to come back for the last few weeks of our stay in NZ. The property is as described and feels homely but the real attraction of the property is the views, the location to the great beach and the small, but great selection of bars and cafes in close proximity. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Cosy home away from home
Perfect cosy home for our family of 5. Had everything we needed. Comfy beds and curtains that actually blocked out the light which is rare. Kids enjoyed the games. Last minute change of dates was accommodated with no issue. Short walk to beach and cafe/restaurant (with the best chips)

Great Location
Overall a great property in a great location. Beds were comfy, lounge was large and great to relax in at night. Bathroom and Kitchen were great and loads of space in each. Deck needs a little love and the gardens could use some attention but you cant go wrong staying here, walk to beach and walk to cafe and shops. Would love to stay here again.

Very nice beach house
Was a lovely beach house, easy to find and exceptionally clean and tidy. Jeff gave very clear instructions on how to get to the Bach. Our only disappointment was not being able to change the booking at short notice due to Covid to another weekend so our friends could not join us. Otherwise a very nice place to stay. Thankyou!

My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves at Grove Hill and our time was over far too quickly but it was such a pleasant time from our usual suburbia and I got my wish to look out over the sea, it was beautiful plus the sunset was a bonus, not to mention the spoonbills at The Lagoon. The metal outdoor sunchairs need a little attention and because of our age we had difficulty with window catches and we would have liked instructions for the toaster!! Otherwise the kitchen was wonderfully equipped, everything was great and we enjoyed every moment. We would absolutely love to stay again at this lovely beach house.

Great beach house
My wife and I have been living overseas for a number of years, and it was the first trip back to see family. Great place to stay and check into the NZ beach life again, and also have family who live locally feel free to drop in and say " HI". Excellent place to have a BBQ and watch the ocean. Highly recommend.
