"We booked for our two families,10 in total, for our daughter’s 30th birthday. The hosts, Ana and Petar were amazing - they provided lots of information and were happy to suggest and provide options for restaurants and boat trips. On arrival Petar was here to welcome us and took us on a short tour of the villa and local area. The villa was perfect and in a great location - just a short walk from the village with supermarkets and restaurants. We have loved our stay in Croatia - everyone...

"We are two families who stayed 5 nights at this incredible property surrounded by olive trees with a beautiful view of the Adriatic. The owners gave us a wonderful welcome with delicious appetizers, their award winning olive oil (we bought three bottles to take home) and home made grappa liquor. "Our family stayed for a week and had a lovely time at cottage Maika. Very well equiped and excellent communication from the owner. The pool was fantastic and well needed in the August heat! The track up to the cottage is fairly narrow and steep and a bit scary the first time but we took it carefully and had now issues with a standard saloon car. "Stayed in this beautiful home for our daughter and son in laws familymoon!Just a short 15 minute drive from Split Airport.Taxi into Trogir town takes approximately 8 minutes depending on traffic. Would recommend using Uber as this is much cheaper (approx 8 one way). Street taxi was 40 one way. "Hotel Life Palace is fantastic! Great location: right in the middle of Old Town, which is charming, fully pedestrianized, and easily walkable. (No cars in Old Town but it’s small enough that it’s easy to carry/roll your suitcase to you car, taxi, or bus.) There are bistros, snack-shops, cafes, and full restaurants right out the front door or around the corner. But a word of warning: for breakfast, you’ll want to stay in the hotel—every morning, there’s a great selection of treats and mainstays. The hotel itself is super-comfortable—you get the visual delight of a historic palace combined with modern comforts. And, finally, the staff is amazing—efficient, attentive, and super-nice."
